Fast Way To A Radiant White Smile

All of us are found wanting, at least once, for these beautiful white teeth that are so common with all the celebrities. Every now and then, there is a teeth whitening paste announcement broadcast on television. Shortly after, many people change for the particular toothpaste. Yet after months of use, people do not realize any results. Their teeth are nowhere near the teeth shown in this toothpaste advertising. But it is important for people to note that toothpastes usually contain small particles of silica oxide, calcium carbonate and aluminum or calcium phosphate which helps rid the teeth of the spots formed due to Colored food molecules. Toothpaste does not work as a bleaching agent from the actual color of the tooth.

Usually, teeth discoloration happens over a period of time. The main causes are bacterial pigments, foodstuffs and vegetables rich in carotenoids or xanthonoids. Even some anti-bacterial drugs can cause teeth stains or cause the loss of gloss enamel. It is therefore advisable to stay away from colored like coffee, tea, cola, red wine or even liquids. Other causes can include tobacco, cigarette and enamel hypoplasia.

Since dental stains are an inevitable event for everyone smile, tooth whitening, also called swabbing, is one of the most sought after procedure in the field of cosmetic dentistry. This method involves the use of carbamide peroxide which reacts with water to form hydrogen peroxide. Sometimes the hydrogen peroxide is also used directly. The peroxide oxidizing agent penetrates the porosities in the rod-shaped structure of the enamel and bleaches stain deposits in the dentin.

Another method to accelerate the whitening process is accelerated through money light. This method involves the isolation of the soft tissues with a barrier in the light curable resin, and then applying a hydrogen peroxide bleaching gel and exposure to a source of light for 6-15 minutes. Different types of energy sources can be used for this treatment, such as halogen light, LED or plasma arc. Due to the recent advancement in technology, this treatment takes about 30 minutes to an hour. And this can be done in one visit to the dentist.

Before going to such treatment, it is recommended to have the teeth examined by a dentist. The review should include a survey of the health and dental history of the patient and the dentist must observe hard and soft tissues and placement and conditions of restorations.

While bleaching is a bleaching treatment time, it also has its limitations and side effects. Side effects may include chemical burns sensitive teeth whitening gel, more money is called the "bleached effect," pain "sensitive teeth" caused by tubules, increased risk of hot / cold sensitivity and also a risk bleachorexia (unhealthy obsession with a teeth whitening).

Bleaching is not recommended if teeth have decay or infected gums. It is also recommended that a person who is sensitive to hydrogen peroxide should not try bleaching before seeing the dentist. Bleaching does not work in cases where the link has been used and is also ineffective filling color teeth. It is not recommended for children under 16 years of age or if pregnant or breastfeeding. Bleaching is most effective with yellow discolored teeth.
